[Airy takes a small sip of her coffee, enjoying the burning heat that slithers down her throat. The bitter taste sharpens her thoughts and she nods, understanding reflecting in her lovely features.
Cassidy is still coming down from his high but he's following along and picking up the important parts of the story. Airy worries a little about his reaction but it'd likely improve with the coffee.]
Yeah. I'm not sure how much detail you want. [They haven't made a habit of talking about their sexual adventures with others. For Airy it doesn't happen very often and after their last conversation she'd been avoiding frivolous and new advances. That had been when Widowmaker came into her life and discarded the option of Airy's refusal.]
So... recently. [Yesterday.] I swung by the sex shop to pick up some toys for us to try. I thought it'd be fun but I didn't really know what they all did. So I hiked out to the lake, [Partly to be alone and partly because Airy likes hiking.] And, I thought I was alone so I started messing around with them. Figuring it out so that I could come back and show you.
[She probably should have just come and shown Cassidy what she'd purchased.]
Well, she came up behind me and things happened. I told her I was with someone and everything but she didn't really seem to care. I also told her I wasn't interested in girls but she kept insisting otherwise. [A note of anger slipped into her voice.] It was so frustrating. I was in the middle of something and I couldn't think clearly. I tried to tell her to leave me alone but then I wanted the help. I was so close and it was so frustrating.
[She sighed, downed her coffee, winced as the scolding heat burned her throat and settled in her stomach and continued in a softer voice.]
I've never really stopped to consider if I like girls. I've talked to Eve about it and I've kissed her, kind of experimenting after what had happened with you to see how I felt on it but it's confusing and I'm just annoyed and I hate that woman because she's not leaving me alone. [She hates it but Cassidy would likely be able to pick up that the real reason that Airy hates it, is because she had liked it.]
